Dorian Concept’s music is organised around the synthesizer as a performance instrument rather than a bank of finished textures. Improvisation, jazz harmony, beat construction and compact electronic composition move in and out of focus across each release. His one-take Miniatures work and anniversary performances foreground the physical decision-making that made the early microKORG videos influential, while later commissions and collaborations keep the project from becoming a nostalgia object.
