VESSEL BASE brings the AKUSMONAUTIKUM loudspeaker orchestra to the Fassfabrik for two free acousmatic concert evenings. Works by Julia Urbani-Schmerlaib, Matthias Makowsky and Christian Tschinkel connect astronomy, science fiction, bodily sound and sound therapy; talks by astronomer Franz Vrabec, projections by Valerie Schaller and a performance by Monika Jantschnig expand the programme.
