Take the A-Train spreads a four-day programme across Salzburg’s Hauptbahnhof and Elisabeth-Vorstadt district, connecting electronica and club-facing work with jazz, improvisation, performance and community formats. Matthew Herbert, EXIT VOID, Martyn, Katharina Ernst, Turn Table Tennis with Aznee Soundsystem and ORBIT LOOP with Martin Sued provide the clearest electronic thread, while Alfa Mist, Joe Armon-Jones and The Necks widen the frame. Several outdoor and neighbourhood events are free; paid Jazzit concerts and the Sunday sunrise performance are covered by individual tickets or a festival pass. It suits listeners who prefer exploratory electronic music inside a mixed, walkable city festival.
