Waschsalon works less like a conventional taste-making imprint than a shared workshop: a small circle of Vienna players builds the release infrastructure its ensembles need, then lets the music range from tightly scored chamber-jazz to unruly improvisation and electronically treated ensemble sound. The “washing programme” language is playful, but the practical model is serious—artist control, local collaboration and patient physical/digital documentation.
