Luigi Nono

Luigi Nono (1924-1990) was an Italian composer who joined political urgency to radical work with tape, live electronics and spatial sound. Pieces including La fabbrica illuminata and Prometeo use voice, recorded material and transformed acoustics to turn listening into an active, often confrontational experience.
