Akyra

Akyra is the DJ and producer Danilo Iacone, born in Naples and based in Zürich. He also releases music as Nomen. Early experiences with guitar and his family’s jazz records helped shape a broad musical interest that he channels into a minimal-focused sound. His own biography documents more than twenty vinyl releases, including work for Blind Vision, WE_R House and Covered. He is part of the Sihl Records community and co-founded the vinyl-only label altēr:altēr with Marie in 2023. Through DJ sets, production and label curation, his work connects deep and dark minimal sounds with Zürich’s underground club circuit.
