Lone Assembly

Lone Assembly is a Geneva quartet combining new wave, romantic synthpop and melancholic post-punk. Raphaël Bressler handles vocals and keyboards, Glenn Le Meur guitar, Jim Bodeman bass and Romain Segu drums. Their 2024 debut EP That Never Happened explored unresolved grief through atmospheric synthesizers, resonant vocals and an eighties-informed sound shaped by modern production. Singles including Keep This Flame and The Pain Keeper developed that approach. The debut album Knots & Chains, released by Irascible Records in 2026, examines control, alienation and inner insecurity while retaining the band’s cold-wave textures and melodic songwriting.
