Electron turns Geneva into a shared space for club culture and digital art
Running until 25 October, Electron's 23rd edition connects Geneva's clubs, cultural venues and public spaces, with a joint club route and a free digital-art exhibition.
Geneva's Electron festival is taking a city-wide approach to electronic culture this October. Its 23rd edition runs from 2 to 25 October 2026, bringing music together with performance and digital art across several kinds of venue. The significant development is the network: established clubs are part of a wider cultural route, rather than the programme being concentrated on a single festival site.
Three clubs, one route
On 16 October, the Electron Club Tour connects Le Zoo, Motel Campo and La Gravière. A Discobus developed with RTS Couleur 3 links the venues. The collaboration puts movement between existing local spaces at the centre of the experience, while the Palladium hosts larger club nights and La Comédie brings performance and electronic music into the same programme.
Electronic culture beyond the dancefloor
From 17 to 25 October, the free exhibition Machines sensibles ? occupies parts of the Gare des Eaux-Vives that are normally closed to the public. Its works examine machine perception, digital images and the ways technology represents people and landscapes. Swiss and local contributions sit alongside international artists, including Sabrina Ratté and Iregular.
The exhibition and the connected club programme offer different ways into the same festival. For Geneva, that is the wider cultural proposition: electronic music can be encountered through public-space art and performance as well as through a night out. The full festival is not free; admission conditions depend on the individual programme. Electron's current programme remains the place to check venue, time and ticket details.
