Shake Stew move to Arena Wien’s open-air stage with the ecstatic large-ensemble sound developed around bassist Lukas Kranzelbinder. The Austrian group combine interlocking percussion, brass, hypnotic funk, swing, Afro-jazz and spiritual-jazz intensity in sprawling live sets designed for physical movement as much as close listening. The concert follows the band’s tenth-anniversary period. Doors open at 19:00. Arena confirms the headline performance and ticket route but currently names no support act.
