Portal
Policies
The practical rules behind SCENE:ID: how identities, editorial material, submissions and published media are handled across the portal.
Editorial
SCENE:ID publishes original scene guides, profiles, news and event information. Editorial text is written for readers, checked against suitable sources and may include clearly framed interpretation or commentary.
Listings & submissions
Clubs, artists, promoters, festivals, labels and other scene participants may submit or claim an identity. Submissions are reviewed before publication and may be edited, declined, corrected or removed to keep the index useful and accurate.
Images & media
Event posters, press images and editorial media are used only where there is a reasonable publishing basis and appropriate attribution or source context. If no suitable image is available, SCENE:ID presents the story without placeholder artwork.
Copyright & corrections
Rights holders and represented organisations can request attribution changes, factual corrections or removal. Include the relevant URL, the material concerned and enough information for us to verify the request.
Accounts & conduct
Account holders are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of their submissions. Impersonation, deceptive promotion, unlawful material, spam and attempts to compromise the service are not permitted.
Privacy & third parties
Essential account and security information is handled as described in our Privacy & Cookies notice. Optional third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
