SCENE:ID / TERMS

Terms of Use

The access rules that protect SCENE:ID, its contributors and the structured cultural index being built across the platform.

01

Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of SCENE:ID, including its public pages, accounts, editorial material, directories, media and technical services. By using the service, you agree to follow these Terms and all applicable laws.

02

Permitted access

SCENE:ID is intended for ordinary human use and for legitimate indexing by recognised search engines in accordance with our published robots.txt instructions. A public page does not grant a licence to reproduce, republish, aggregate or commercially exploit its contents.

03

Automated collection prohibited

Without prior written permission, you may not scrape, crawl, harvest, enumerate, mirror or systematically extract SCENE:ID pages, profiles, listings, taxonomies, media, metadata or relationships; build or enrich a dataset from them; use them for data mining, model or AI training, retrieval systems, competing directories, lead lists or commercial intelligence; or direct another person, bot or service to do so. This prohibition includes repeated extraction of individually small portions.

04

Technical restrictions

You may not bypass access controls, rate limits, bot controls or technical protections; disguise automated traffic; probe non-public endpoints; reverse engineer private interfaces; interfere with the service; or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, infrastructure or stored media. Exceptions required by mandatory law remain unaffected.

05

Content and database rights

SCENE:ID reserves all rights in its original editorial work, selection, verification, arrangement, taxonomies, design, software and substantial investment in its databases. Rights in names, facts, artist-supplied material and third-party works remain with their respective owners. No ownership is claimed over facts merely because they appear on SCENE:ID.

06

Text and data mining reservation

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SCENE:ID expressly reserves the use of all protected works and databases for text and data mining, including the reservation contemplated by Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. No permission for machine learning or generative-AI training is granted by making material publicly accessible.

07

Images, audio and other media

Images, audio, video, artwork and other media may be viewed only through the intended SCENE:ID experience unless a separate licence or an explicit download is provided. You may not download, hotlink, redistribute, alter, sell or reuse media without the relevant rights holder's permission.

08

Accounts and submissions

Account holders must provide accurate information, protect their access credentials and submit only material they are entitled to use. Impersonation, unlawful content, spam and manipulation of profiles, events, news or engagement signals are prohibited.

09

Enforcement and changes

SCENE:ID may investigate misuse, restrict or terminate access, preserve relevant evidence and pursue available remedies. We may update these Terms as the service develops; the current version is the one published here. Effective 29 August 2026.
