Argo Kollektiv selected for NASOM 2027/28

Argo Kollektiv has been selected for The New Austrian Sound of Music, Austria's two-year international support programme, for 2027 and 2028. The ensemble appears in the contemporary-music selection published by mica – music austria, a partner in the selection process. Formed at Vienna's mdw in 2023, the group combines contemporary chamber music with live electronics, video and work across artistic disciplines, according to mica's introduction. Its inclusion brings this approach to NASOM's next programme alongside artists from classical music, jazz, global music and pop. Run by Austria's foreign ministry, NASOM supports international appearances through the country's cultural forums, embassies and consulates. Support depends on the opportunities available within that network; selection is not an announcement of a fixed tour.
