Carinthia offers a year of support through its 2027 music scholarship

The €10,500 award gives electronic artists with a Carinthian connection a modest but continuous funding route.

The Land Kärnten has opened its annual music scholarship for 2027. The selected artist will receive €875 per month from January through December, a total of €10,500, to support sustained work rather than one finished product.

The call is open to composers and performers who were born in Carinthia, live there or show another substantial regional connection. Electronic producers and sound artists are eligible even though the programme is not reserved for them.

The amount is not a salary, but it can protect time for research, studio work or a new live system before a premiere or market outcome is guaranteed.
