Maxi Nagl's solo debut folds Vienna club production into digital debris

Vienna producer Maxi Nagl has released Golfball, his first solo album, through local label and studio Feber Wolle. Nagl produced, mixed and mastered the record himself, using IDM, glitch-pop, noise, club rhythm and fragments of folk and rock.

mica presents the album as a response to compressed attention, online identities and abrupt stylistic switching. Feber Wolle's exact release catalogue confirms Nagl's Golfball single and label relationship, but no dedicated owner album page was located.

The release matters less because it combines many genres than because it treats their collision as form: club percussion can support a song and then dissolve into texture.
