Contenance

Contenance is Simon Hürlimann's solo DJ and production project. Raised near Lucerne, he explored several musical styles before turning to electronic music in 2014. Production became a regular part of his work in 2019, and his Zürich studio practice centres on melodic, organic and rhythm-led club tracks. His releases and remixes have appeared on Saisons Musique, Hive Audio, 3000 Grad and Art Vibes. He is associated with the resident communities of Hive, Rakete and Kiki. Alongside the solo project, he has collaborated with Miles Away, including the Laguna EP. His sets and productions share an emphasis on melody, groove and four-to-the-floor rhythm.
