Billy Roisz treats audio and video as interchangeable electrical events. Feedback, distortion, bass and image errors are not accompaniment to one another; they form a single performance system in which a visual gesture can behave rhythmically and a sound can fracture the screen. Her practice crosses cinema, improvisation and electronic composition, with collaborations used as laboratories rather than fixed bands. Recent live work and the 2026 Diagonale retrospective confirm both current production and a substantial historical body of work.
