Elektro Guzzi

Elektro Guzzi reverse the usual live-electronic equation: guitar, bass and drums are used to construct the repetition, phase and controlled pressure of techno without hiding the physical labour behind a computer screen. The result is not rock with a four-to-the-floor beat but a trio treating instrumental coordination as a sequencing system. Recent remixes, collaborations and Austrian touring show that the long-running format continues to evolve rather than simply replay the group’s 2010 breakthrough.
