PMK (plattform mobile kulturinitiativen)

PMK is Innsbruck’s collective-run cultural platform beneath the viaduct arches: a multi-room live venue/bar rather than a single-genre nightclub. Independent sector reporting describes it as a self-managed umbrella of roughly 30–35 Innsbruck cultural associations, created in response to the city’s shortage of independent rooms and operated by member associations rather than a conventional single promoter. It belongs in the electronic venue database because Gender Bender demonstrably returns year after year and the house’s current archive shows further techno, bass, dub and experimental club activity.
