ÄÄNIPÄÄ

ÄÄNIPÄÄ is the project of Mika Vainio and Stephen O'Malley, joining severe electronic pressure, guitar mass and long-form composition. Their 2013 Editions Mego album Through A Pre-Memory turns Anna Akhmatova's texts, Alan Dubin's voice and string arrangements into a stark, ritual-scale work.
