Iannis Xenakis

Iannis Xenakis was a Greek-French composer, architect and mathematical thinker who transformed postwar music through stochastic processes, computer-assisted composition and spatial sound. His electroacoustic works treat rhythm, probability and architecture as forces that reshape how sound moves through space.
