Okvsho turn Zurich and London sessions into Frozen Flashes
The Swiss duo's new Current Moves album connects collective improvisation with sampling and electronic production.
Okvsho released Frozen Flashes digitally on 18 September 2026 through Current Moves. Across nine tracks, Zurich brothers Christoph and Georg Kiss work with recordings made in Zurich and London, turning shared studio sessions into a produced album. Guests include Azekel, Melodiesinfonie, FloFilz, Tenderlonious and Hadel.
Between the session and the edit
Improvisation is the source material rather than the final format: performances are sampled, edited and rearranged. That process places the album at the intersection of beat-making, electronic music and modern jazz. Current Moves is also the duo's own Zurich-based label and platform, making the release a contribution to local independent infrastructure as well as an artist project.
The five-piece Okvsho +experience band takes the new material on a European tour starting on 23 October, with a Zurich date at Kaufleuten listed for 6 December. Physical and digital schedules should not be confused: the album is already available digitally, while the official Bandcamp listing gives vinyl shipping on or around 20 November.
