PETZI and Helvetiarockt bring prevention training to club teams
A free bilingual workshop in Bern connects practical club work with the longer-term Awareness Lab programme.
PETZI and Helvetiarockt are offering another foundation workshop on preventing sexualised violence in clubs and festivals. It takes place at Gaskessel in Bern on 17 October 2026, from 13:30 to 17:30, with separate German- and French-language groups. Registration closes on 10 October; participation is free and limited to ten clubs or festivals per language.
Work beyond the poster
The session belongs to a wider effort to turn awareness commitments into sustained practice. Helvetiarockt's Awareness Lab combines training, exchanges between organisations and work linked to the Diversity Roadmap. That resource asks venues to consider communication, organisational structures, programming, infrastructure and intervention together.
The Bern workshop addresses the origins of sexualised violence and the assumptions that can obstruct prevention. Its significance for electronic nightlife is organisational: people running a dancefloor need shared knowledge as well as a public statement of intent. Teams interested in attending should use the organisers' registration link and check the remaining places directly.
