Warehouse plans a six-week electronic music venue in Zurich
The temporary Altstetten project opens on 14 November, bringing a concentrated run of electronic music to Vulkanstrasse.
Warehouse has announced a temporary electronic-music venue at Vulkanstrasse 126 in Zurich-Altstetten, with an opening on 14 November 2026. The project is presented by Terrazzza and Mr. Samigo and is planned for six weeks, rather than as a permanent addition to the city's club network. Ticketcorner confirms the opening date and address.
A venue with an end date
The organisers describe six weekends of programming in November and December. The opening bill includes Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler and Fleur Shore. Further announced dates include Charlotte de Witte on 28 November and ARTBAT with Miss Monique on 4 December; Eric Prydz is listed for 19 December. These remain announced plans, not completed performances.
The distinction between a temporary venue and a lasting club matters for Zurich. A short run can bring a substantial concentration of electronic programming to an industrial address, but its duration alone provides no evidence of new permanent nightlife infrastructure. Nor does an international bill establish what the project will contribute to local artistic development.
Warehouse's own presentation emphasises production and hospitality. Its claims to be a first or a world-leading venue are promotional descriptions and are not independently established here. The concrete development is narrower: a time-limited electronic-music project now has an official location, a ticketed opening and a published programme. What remains to be seen is how that temporary model works in practice once the doors open.
