Dom Servini
Dom Servini is a London DJ, broadcaster, music journalist and co-owner of Wah Wah 45s. His selections connect soul, jazz and funk with hip-hop, Latin music, electronica, house, jungle and disco. Active on dance floors since the early 1990s, his work has included a Brighton residency with DJ Snowboy, the Mouseorgan nights and a long association with London's Jazz Cafe. Alongside club sets and international touring, he has helped develop artists including Hackney Colliery Band, The Milk, Dele Sosimi and Honeyfeet through Wah Wah 45s. His writing has appeared in Straight No Chaser, Shook, Echoes and Bandcamp. Broadcasting is another central part of his practice, including his monthly Soho Radio programme and the label's radio shows. His approach favours extended, open-ended musical journeys rather than a single genre.
