Miche

Miche is a London-based British DJ, record collector and compiler whose long sets connect modern soul, private-press disco, Brazilian MPB, jazz dance and deep house. He has worked as lead programmer at the audiophile venue Spiritland and co-founded the seven-inch reissue label Discs of Fun & Love. His With Love compilation series for Mr Bongo began in 2022. By its third volume, the selection had expanded from modern soul and Brazilian discoveries into jazz-funk and Turkish music. In his account of the series, emotional impact and the sequence of the records matter as much as rarity. His compiling also brings the original musicians and their stories into focus, with recordings licensed directly from their artists. That attention to musical connections shapes both his compilations and his expansive approach to DJing.
